A Lebanese grill on Sunset Boulevard is about to start its day with omelettes, steak and eggs, and Lavazza coffee at 8:30 a.m. JoJo's Mediterranean Grill moves Friday morning from 8000 Sunset Blvd. to 7950 Sunset Blvd., owner Malik Haddad told What Now Los Angeles, which reported the move Monday. His lease is up, and he says the new address gets more exposure on the street.

The early hour is the real change. JoJo's own website still lists a 10 a.m. opening Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sundays. At 7950 it plans to open at 8:30 a.m. every day, with grab-and-go egg-and-cheese sandwiches on bagels or croissants and a big patio, What Now reported. To mark the move, chicken shawarma and falafel sandwiches will cost $5 through November, according to What Now, and checking in on Facebook gets you a free drink.

Haddad isn't stopping at West Hollywood. He already runs a second JoJo's at 5200 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood, hopes to open in Anaheim and Rancho Cucamonga by the end of 2027, and is looking at Santa Monica, the Pasadena area and the Torrance and Long Beach side of the county. The pitch for all of them is the same one he made to What Now about the hummus and kebabs: "This is what our grandmothers used to serve, our mothers."
