Dodgers Fans in Montclair Are Getting Their Own Team Store

Lids is bringing its Dodgers Clubhouse team shop to the mall's second level at 5060 E. Montclair Plaza Lane.

The name in Montclair Place's store directory is spelled "Dodger's Club House," and it comes with a "Coming Soon" tag. It's a shop built around a single baseball team. What Now Los Angeles reported Oct. 30 that Dodgers Clubhouse, the team-gear store run by Lids Sports Group, will open on Level 2 of the Montclair mall at 5060 E. Montclair Plaza Lane.

What Now said it'll stock Dodgers caps, clothes and accessories. The mall has hyped the store on Instagram and asked followers to share their excitement, but it hasn't posted an opening date, and Lids didn't answer What Now's questions before the story ran.

A cap-and-snack trip is already possible there. The same directory lists Two Hands Fresh Corn Dogs, plus a plain Lids store. So once the new shop opens, the company will have two hat counters under one roof.

The Dodgers Clubhouse at Ovation Hollywood calls itself the official store of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Montclair's, for now, is a directory listing with a stray apostrophe.
