Nancy Silverton Is Opening an Italian Steakhouse in the Palisades
Spacca Tutto opens Oct. 15 in Palisades Village, bringing Chi Spacca's focaccia, a chicken pot pie and nearly 250 wines.

Nancy Silverton built her name on bread. On Oct. 15, she's opening a steakhouse in Pacific Palisades.
The restaurant is called Spacca Tutto. It's an Italian take on the American steakhouse at 15255 Palisades Village Lane, WhatNow reported, and Silverton is opening it with New School Hospitality and Caruso, the developer that owns the center. The timing matters. Caruso's Palisades Village reopened in August with about 70% of its shops back, 19 months after the January 2025 Palisades Fire.
The neighborhood is still counting what's come back, so a new dining room from a James Beard Award winner counts for a lot. It's a sign the village is filling in, not just reopening.
The restaurant's roots are in Chi Spacca, Silverton's meat-heavy restaurant. Eater LA reported, as cited by WhatNow, that Spacca Tutto takes that idea and stretches it into a full Italian-American steakhouse. One thing moves over directly: the Focaccia di Recco, which is coming from Chi Spacca to the new menu.
The steaks will be sorted by cut, breed and age. Right next to them are chicken pot pie, shrimp cocktail and steak tartare, plus seafood, seasonal salads and vegetables, the usual steakhouse sides and smaller plates.
That pot pie gives the plan away. Spacca Tutto is meant to work at lunch and for a drink, too, not only as a big night out under low lights.
The bar backs that up. Plans call for close to 250 wine labels, Italian and domestic, along with martinis, aperitivo and a craft cocktail program built for speed. There will also be spirit-free cocktails for people who aren't drinking.
Silverton has been in the business for more than four decades. She founded La Brea Bakery in 1989, which helped make artisan bread an ordinary thing to want in the U.S. She co-owns Mozza Restaurant Group, whose current lineup includes Pizzeria Mozza, Osteria Mozza, Mozza2Go and Chi Spacca. When a chef with that record takes a room in a rebuilt village, she's saying out loud that she thinks diners will come back to it.
The restaurant says the name is an Italian expression that roughly means "go for it" or "give it your all." In a village that took 19 months to reopen, that reads more like a description than a slogan.
