24Hr Homecare has filed notice of a permanent layoff affecting 875 workers at 200 N. Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 300 in El Segundo, according to the state’s list of WARN notices. California’s Employment Development Department processed the notice on Oct. 22.

The notice is dated Oct. 1 and lists Dec. 17 as the effective date. The state lists the employer’s industry as health care and social assistance.

It’s the company’s second notice in two months. The first, processed Aug. 31, covered 738 workers at the same El Segundo address. Notices from other employers in ZIP code 90245 since November 2025 have all been far smaller; the largest, Mattel’s, covered 89 workers. It is the largest of the 11 health care and social assistance notices the state has processed for L.A. County since July 1.

It is the 12th L.A. County notice the state has processed in October; the 13 notices so far cover 1,739 workers. The Globe’s L.A. Layoff Tracker lists every L.A. County notice, newest first, and explains what a WARN notice does and doesn’t say.
