13 New L.A. Restaurants, Ranked by How Real Their Opening Date Is

The fall list runs from a 1931 Silver Lake church to the Lucas Museum's new grill in Exposition Park.

Thirteen new Los Angeles restaurants and bars are due to open between now and December, and three of them named an actual day. The fall roster was published September 10 by Eater LA. Everything else on it is filed under a month, a season, or simply 2026.

That gap is the diner's problem, not the operator's. A day on the calendar means you can book it — the Lucas Museum's restaurant already has a Resy page. A month means you watch Instagram for four weeks and hope for a Tuesday.

Here's the list, ordered from the firmest promise to the vaguest.

1. Sous Sous — Silver Lake, September 11

The De La Nonna crew's Southern French restaurant with chef Patrick Costa, inside Hotel Lucile, a church built in 1931 and since renovated. Eater LA's entry gives it September 11 and then says it debuts September 12. A restaurant carrying two opening dates in one paragraph has learned something about opening dates.

2. Skywalker Grill — Exposition Park, September 22

Opens with George Lucas's Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. Chef Daniel Guillen, formerly chef de cuisine at the InterContinental and Hotel Bel-Air, is cooking contemporary American — a wagyu burger, chicken Milanese, pasta made in house. The museum took years. The burger's reservations are live.

3. Heisei — Culver City, October 2

Chris Ono's first restaurant of his own, blocks from Tito's Tacos, serving Nikkei cooking named for Japan's 1989-to-2019 era. Ono grew up in Culver City. A chef opening in his own hometown knows exactly what day it is.

4. Gilbert Perez Bar — Sherman Oaks, October

Max Reis and Matt Egan are putting a tropical-and-Mexican-rum bar directly above Daisy Margarita Bar, named for the Filipino Spanish soldier who, as the legend goes, vanished in 1593 and turned up in Mexico City. It opens with a strict no-photography rule. A bar built on a disappearance, arriving on no particular day, that you aren't allowed to photograph.

5. Kozo Los Angeles — Sunset Strip, October

Ghanaian entrepreneur Ramzi Yamusah brought in chef Sakorn Somboon for an Afro-Asian menu that includes kimchi jollof rice, and Julian Cox is running a cocktail bar inside called Embar. The Sunset Strip has absorbed plenty of concepts with less food on them.

6. Spacca Tutto — Pacific Palisades, October

Nancy Silverton's Italian American steakhouse lands in Rick Caruso's Palisades Village, which has been refilling with tenants including K Bakery and Alphabet Bar and Grill, per Eater LA. Steak tartare, crab Louie, chicken pot pie. The month is still just October.

7. Three more, also October

La Morocha brings David Castro Hussong's Ensenada restaurant to the Arts District; Bar Fortuna is Crudo e Nudo chef Brian Bornemann's California-Italian wine bar in Santa Monica; Burger She Wrote opens a third location on San Vicente Boulevard near Barrington Avenue in Brentwood. Six of the thirteen are stacked into one month, because October holds everybody.

8. Lodge Bread Company — Pasadena, early November

The fourth Lodge takes 3,000 square feet on Lincoln Avenue at the Altadena border, with 75 seats indoors and on the patio, next to Homestate and Kismet. Part of that space is being held for Full Proof Pizza Company in January. One lease, two restaurants, and the second date has already slid into next year.

9. The Supper Club — Beverly Hills, December

A 94-seat restaurant and music venue inside the Beverly Hills Hotel, with chef Mattia Agazzi (formerly of Gucci Osteria), designer Ken Fulk and music curator Alex Le Roux, part of a 10-year Dorchester Collection plan and the property's largest renovation since the 1940s. A decade-long project can afford to miss December.

10. Henri's, and the restaurants at Public — "late 2026" and "2026"

Henri's is a raw bar next door to Mistral in Sherman Oaks, named for Mistral's original owner, Henri Abergel. Public is Ian Schrager's second hotel under that brand after the Lower East Side original in 2017, arriving in West Hollywood with three dining rooms, a pool bar, a nightclub and a 30-foot movie screen.
