Six wagyu soup dumplings cost $26 at Good Alley Reserve, a dressier Arcadia spinoff of the Rosemead dumpling shop Good Alley. The critic's verdict is the only one on the record here, and looking at that price line, I'd spend the $26 once, put the six wagyu dumplings in the middle of the table, and build the rest of the order out of the chili-oil pork belly and the noodles. The splurge reads better as a centerpiece than as a whole dinner.
