Sensydia Corp, a company based in Valencia, has sold more than $8.9 million of a planned more than $10.85 million offering to 10 investors, according to a Form D it filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Oct. 19.

It is the company’s fifth private raise on file with the SEC: in a Form D filed May 15, 2023, it reported selling more than $7.79 million to 23 investors. Together, the filings report more than $26.5 million sold since March 2016.

The filing lists the first sale on Oct. 5. It says the offering is not expected to last more than a year. The securities offered are equity, options or warrants and the securities they can be exercised for.

It is the largest of the 3 raises L.A. County companies reported in Form D filings the week of Oct. 19.

The Globe’s L.A. Startup Money Tracker counts 12 raises by L.A. County companies so far in October, totaling more than $50.26 million, and explains what a Form D does and doesn’t say.
