Connor Storrie and BLACKPINK's Rosé Danced Through Taylor Swift's Gala Set. The Clip Has 800,000 Views.
Black tie, hands in the air.

In the back of the shot, a man in a tuxedo and bow tie watches Taylor Swift from his chair. That's the posture a black-tie dinner is built around. But Connor Storrie and Rosé are on their feet in front of him, hands locked over their heads, laughing like nobody mentioned the chairs.
The 18-second clip comes from the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala, which the museum held Saturday night, and it shows the "Heated Rivalry" star and the BLACKPINK singer dancing through Swift's set. People are passing it around because two famous guests treated a fundraiser like a concert, and because, this being the internet, they wanted to ship them.
The post came from @connorstupdates, a Storrie fan account, at about 10:25 p.m. Saturday: "Connor Storrie and Rosé dancing to Taylor Swift at the 6th Academy Museum Gala tonight!" By Sunday, X's own count had it at 807,493 views and 4,595 reposts.
First Locked Hands, Then Locked Arms
The video opens under a curved lattice of steel and glass, the room soaked in blue light. Storrie, in dark satin with a black scarf knotted at his throat, has one hand clasped with Rosé's up in the air. His mouth is wide open mid-song while she laughs.
Next she's tucked against his shoulder with her arm hooked through his. Then the two stand side by side, arms linked, with the bow-tied man still seated behind them. The camera whips across a blur of dinner tables and lands on Swift, on a round stage with an acoustic guitar, in a dark gown that catches the light.
Geo News reported the song was "Blank Space." The dancers' outfits came from the same house: both wore Saint Laurent, according to Just Jared's rundown of the guests, and Geo described them as faces of the same fashion label. That goes a long way toward explaining why they were standing together.
The Replies Cheered the Standing Up and Argued About the Rest
Most of the replies loved that they stood up at all. "this is exactly what i want from a gala, not people standing around pretending to network," one person wrote. Another added, "ARGHHHHH I love the way they're standing to hype it instead of just sitting."
Then came the shippers, and the people quietly correcting them. "Rosé is so shippable with everyone she interacts with 😭," one reply read, which works as both the case and the rebuttal. Another settled on "Love this, they always cute friends at these events." Geo News noted that nothing romantic has been confirmed.
The most-liked reply didn't mention the dancing: "Danny Ramirez being the one who posted this!!! Hello!!" A few spots down came "THANK YOU DANNY RAMIREZ OH MY GOD." Ramirez was at the gala too, there with Jessica Alba, Just Jared reported, and he was in Saint Laurent as well.
The room also got a Swift first. The Academy Museum held the gala to honor John Carpenter, Colman Domingo and Charlize Theron and to raise money for its exhibitions, screenings and education programs, the museum said. During her set, Swift played "The Fate of Ophelia" live for the first time, Geo News reported. She told the crowd it was a song "we are playing for the very first time for you beautiful people," according to Geo.
The man in the bow tie never leaves his chair on camera. One reply guessed how the headliner would rate the two who did: "Taylor would love that they’re up standing and dancing 🥹"
