Christian Marclay's The Clock — the 24-hour film montage that tells the actual time, minute by minute, through thousands of movie clips — returns with a specially ticketed 24-hour screening at LACMA starting 7pm on August 22, per Time Out.

The correct way to see it is the indefensible way: show up at 3am and watch the movies wake up with the city. Also on the radar this week, via We Like LA: JazzPOP at the Hammer, Sizzling Summer Nights at The Autry, and TAPE LA at Barnsdall Art Park.
