Kings Score 31 Seconds In, Then Lose to Bruins and Stay Winless
Boston scored the last four goals of a 4-1 win, and the Kings are 0-4-2, still without a victory this season.

The Kings' reshuffled top line needed 31 seconds to score Saturday night. Then the Boston Bruins scored the next four goals, won 4-1 at Crypto.com Arena and left the Kings without a win six games into the season.
The Kings are 0-4-2, NHL.com reported. Coach Peter Laviolette hasn't won a game with them yet. They've managed a single goal apiece in four straight games. TheSportsDB's scores feed has the 4-1 final, and NHL.com reported the Bruins have now won five in a row.
The lineup change was the Kings' answer to that drought. They moved Alex Laferriere up to center the first line between Adrian Kempe and Artemi Panarin, and it worked at once: Jeremy Swayman stopped Laferriere's tip of a Brandt Clarke point shot, Kempe grabbed the rebound and slid it back, and Laferriere tucked it home standing at the edge of the crease. That makes two goals this season for Laferriere, The Associated Press reported.
It was also the last puck the Kings got past Swayman, who finished with 25 saves.
David Pastrnak evened it 2:43 into the second period. Erik Gustafsson failed to hold the blue line, and Pastrnak went the other way and wristed one past Anton Forsberg from the right circle. The AP reported it was his 289th even-strength goal as a Bruin, matching Phil Esposito for third on the club's all-time list. NHL.com reported he's got points in five straight games.
The goal that decided it came with 6:24 left. Forsberg turned aside a shot by Morgan Geekie from the left side but couldn't smother it, Matthew Poitras poked the loose puck to Marat Khusnutdinov, and Khusnutdinov cut to the front and backhanded it in with the net empty. Forsberg made 24 saves. Elias Lindholm and JJ Peterka then found the empty net, both inside the final two minutes.
The Bruins moved to 7-2-0, a night after winning 4-2 in Anaheim, NHL.com reported. The win finished off all three California teams, and Boston did it without center Pavel Zacha, who's day to day with an upper-body injury from Friday, according to coach Marco Sturm's pregame update, the AP reported.
Laferriere needed 31 seconds to do his part. Everything after that is Laviolette's to fix before Tuesday in Washington.
