Jim Carrey Married Min Ah, His 'Sublime Companion,' in Los Angeles
His reps confirmed the wedding; the pair first went public in February at France's César Awards, where he won an honorary prize.

Jim Carrey, the 64-year-old star of "Bruce Almighty," has married Min Ah, the woman he called his "sublime companion" onstage in Paris in February.
TMZ was first to report the wedding, on Sept. 30. Its report leaned on unnamed sources, who said the two had wed recently in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles.
The confirmation came next, from his own camp. Carrey's reps told USA TODAY that the couple had recently married in Los Angeles. PEOPLE reported that a spokesperson for the actor confirmed it to the magazine on Sept. 30.
Neither report gave a date or a venue.
If you've been typing her name into a search bar, you've got company. Searches pairing Min Ah with Carrey spiked in California after the news broke, and most of what the public has seen of the couple traces back to one night.
That night was Feb. 26, at the César Awards in Paris, when Carrey picked up an honorary César. It was the couple's first official appearance together, and he didn't come alone: his daughter and grandson were there too, TMZ reported.
He gave his speech in French. Near the end, he thanked his "sublime companion" by name, the kind of line most people save for a toast rather than an awards stage.
It wasn't a whirlwind, either. TMZ reported that the two had been seen together out of public view since at least 2022, a long stretch to keep things quiet for a man whose face has been one of Hollywood's most recognizable for decades.
It's his third marriage.
The first was to Melissa Womer, a former actress who'd waited tables at the Comedy Store, in 1987. The couple share a daughter, Jane. Their divorce came in 1995.
The second was to Lauren Holly, his costar in "Dumb and Dumber," in 1996. That one ended the following year, which is the comparison nobody at this wedding needed in the toast.
This time, the man who has played a lot of loud people kept the big day small, and let his reps do the talking. What he wanted to say, he'd already said in Paris: "I love you, Min Ah."
