Wrobleski hasn't pitched more than two innings in three outings, and Landon Knack is being recalled to cover the rest.

Enough people in California searched the name "justin wrobleski" on Thursday to push it onto Google's trending board for the state, at more than 200 searches. That was the count on the Google Trends board at 19:09 UTC on September 17, 2026. The reason is a lineup card: Wrobleski was slated to start for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Cincinnati Reds in Cincinnati, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reported, in an item carried Thursday morning by CBS Sports.

Anyone who plugged him into a fantasy lineup that morning was buying an inning or two, not a start. That's by design.

Wrobleski came off the 15-day injured list on September 1. He's pitched three times since, and not one of those outings ran past two innings, per the CBS Sports item, which is why the club's plan reads as an opener rather than a conventional start.

Landon Knack was due to be recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, and the outlet reported he's the arm expected to cover several innings out of the bullpen once Wrobleski's night ends. Two innings from the man listed as the starter leaves seven for everybody else.
